Creating a Proposal

This conference is small and dynamic, but packed with rich, immersive content, for which we hope your proposal will further contribute. As a result, we can only accept a limited number of proposals to include in our program. However, we are able to accept more virtual posters, so if you submit for a workshop or a lecture, we may offer you an infographic alternative, if we still feel your proposal fits most or all criteria.

Therefore, in order to increase the probability that your proposal will be accepted, here are the criteria our program committee and peer reviewers will utilize when evaluating quality.

1. Technology is featured for education or training in innovative ways, even if the tool isn’t new, regardless of discipline or grade level.
2. Clear and evident connection to one of the ten tracks, so that the proposal uses non-ambiguous terms to describe what will be presented.
3. Digital skills are featured as essential components for building global learners in the 21st century, regardless of discipline or grade level.
4. Learning and teaching are featured in any grade level, any context, and any discipline, including corporate or private sectors.
5. The innovative practice is something unlike any others that have been previously presented.
6. The outcomes included are action based and reasonable within the time and type of the presentation.

Paper Criteria

Those who also submit papers will undergo a peer review to be published in the proceedings. The additional criteria that peer reviewers will utilize to determine inclusion in the proceedings are listed below.

Reviewer Criteria

1. The purpose of the paper is consistently supported throughout all sections.
2. The paper’s topic is clearly connected to one of the conference tracks.
3. The paper describes a project or research completed or conducted using digital technologies for teaching, training, learning or instructional design.
4. The paper presents logical and clearly defined lessons learned or study results.
5. The paper’s conclusions or implications follow the lessons learned or study results to their logical and summative end.
6. The paper is consistently formatted as per guidelines provided, and adheres to correct grammatical conventions and usage.
